A few sweet things about my girlies:

Avalina had to go to bed tonight not just with her two bobbies (pacis) but also her pone (phone). She’s fast asleep holding them.

As I gave Adeliza her little stuffed monkey to sleep with, I was reminded that he used to be called “Mo Mo” when she was little. My how time flies – she’s only 3, yet so much has changed.

Whenever asked what she wants to be when she grows up, Amabella always says – “a mommy!” It’s quite cute. I remember one afternoon Amabella & Adeliza were talking about this at lunch and Adeliza decided she wanted to be a doctor so she could deliver Amabella’s babies. 🙂 Tonight, Amabella and I were talking about her being a mommy & how excited she is about baby brother & how she wants to help feed him. She said maybe she could change his diapers, but maybe not when she’s 5. I told her that if she wants to be a mommy, she’ll need practice, so she could change him when she’s 5. 🙂 (I’m enlisting extra help now.) Then, as I was praying with her before bed, I was praying about when she grows up and gets married & is a mommy. I prayed that she would be a better mommy than me. She stopped me and said, “a better mommy than you?!” Then she said, “all the moms are awesome.” She’s a sweetie.

What a privilege to be a mommy to three little girls and, Lord willing, a wonderful little boy too!

I just popped into the room and snuck pics of each of them. Under Avalina’s arm, tucked as close as possible to herself, is the cell phone. I couldn’t pry it away just yet. Next to Adeliza, squished against the wall, is her monkey. Last, Amabella is just sleeping.
