Heresy creeps in the back door. Before you know it not only have you absorbed it, but you’re speaking it. The problem is not the degree to which you’ll embrace it but the degree to which Jesus will me demoted because of it.

(A little leaven leavens the whole batch)

Colossae (“insignificant”) was near Laodicea (trade and politics here) and Acropolis (vacation area). However, Colossae was where the word was taught. As with us, who may consider ourselves insignificant, God wants to speak to us.

What you believe is very important. And the stand that you make in Christ is essential. Will we stand in Christ or be pulled away by different things?

I’m not telling you what to believe. You are to search out scripture. But, you are responsible for what you believe.

Be careful of the influences in your life. They’re not subtle. You start to take it on.

Like some drinks – its not good watered down. Just like some Christians who are lukewarm & watered down.

I’m not telling you you don’t have the right to believe what you want to, but there is the right thing to believe.

You are in the world but not of the world!
