However, for some reason, I decided I would let the girls paint after nap today – in the garage. Well, Avalina slept half an hour longer than Amabella and Adeliza, so that made things much easier.

The girls did great! Adeliza was so careful and followed all the rules. The new full-arm smocks from Ikea came in handy.

After just two paintings, Adeliza was done. Then Avalina woke up. Perfect timing because Avalina won’t have her own easel until her birthday in a week and a half and I was worried about them arguing over just having 2 easels for 3 kids.

Avalina enjoyed painting, but didn’t like that she got some on her hands. (Oh so different from my other two! Trevor said Amabella was painting her face like make-up at one point while I was cooking dinner.)

Each made birthday paintings for Uncle Nathan. Then Amabella made more for various people. She still has more people in mind, so she’ll have to finish tomorrow. 🙂
