Celebrating with Friends
We had one more celebration on Saturday, February 10. Adi invited a few friends and their families over for her party. She first wanted a cupcake theme, then Valentine’s theme. We did both. Grammie, Papa, and Uncle Nathan also joined for the party.
We set up our newly emptied and painted living room with all the things Adi loves. We had an area for Legos, a table with games, the foosball table, the foosball table top with marbles on the floor, and her own little throne. She set the baby couch Ama got on her first Christmas, which they all still love to play with, on top of the ottoman, and had it ready to open her presents from.
Her friend, BreAnna arrived early, so they had special time to play before everyone else arrived.
They played all different activities, then came to the dining room for two organized little games. First, they chose a paper doily cut in half and tried to find another person with a matching half. Then I showed them that I had half a heart too, and whoever had the heart that matched would get a prize. Keira won and chose an art set as her prize. Next, everybody guessed how many heart candies were in the jar on the table. There were 151. My dad won for the adults and Jenna won a book for the kids.
Next, she had a great time opening presents on her chair, followed by an exciting time breaking the unicorn pinata, and lastly eating cupcakes.

Adeliza’s friend, Mikaela, stayed a little later than everyone else, so they went outside to play a little archery, then took a walk in the field.
Fun was had by all. ?
