SPCF Girls Valentine’s Party
Sunday afternoon, February 11, while Trevor and Azri went to Hayward to look at a van to replace my silver van, the girls and I went to the Girls Valentine’s Party at church.
It was a sweet time with a small group of girls, lots of helpers, and fun.
The kids started with an activity to measure many different things with rulers, tape measures, a clock… then looked up Ephesians 3:8 that talk about how we can’t even measure how much God loves us.
Pastor Ros spoke to the girls about God’s love, Mrs. Edlin did face painting, Miss Sonja led crafts, and Miss Cathryn led the cupcake decorating.
The girls were divided into two groups. My girls started by beautifully decorating cupcakes.
Next they decorated a necklace and made a heart want.
Lastly, they exchanged gifts and excitedly opened them to see what they got.
It was fun to spend time with the girls, helpers, and moms.
