Last night, March 16, 2018, we decided to try rag curls. I cut old dish towels into strips and rolled their damp hair.

After sleeping overnight on them, which Ama said was comfortable and Adi disagreed, we blow dried them a little more. Then, after breakfast, we unwrapped them.

They had better ringlets than I expected. Avalina’s even held a curl with her smooth, slick hair. But, they did start to loosen rather quickly.

I rightly assumed Adeliza’s would hold well as her coarse hair is much like mine.

It was such fun! We’ll have to try it again and use hairspray next time. ?
